Bulldogs require greater care than most breeds. Make sure you're prepared and fully informed for what's involved in taking on this responsibility. Many novice owners fall in love with the breed, but are not prepared for the extra TLC these dogs need.

Your bulldog will require a cool place in the warmer months. He isn't made for long strenuous walks. Exercise is not in his vocabulary. The bulldog has a mind of his own. He'll be your best friend, but he'll do it in his own manner, when he's good and ready. You'll never find a finer, more loyal companion.
